About Me
In my previous role as an executive assistant, I found great joy in tasks such as formatting documents, creating presentation decks, and designing office signs. This sparked a desire for personal growth, propelling me toward a career pivot in design.
Enrolling in General Assembly's UX Design Immersive boot camp was instrumental, providing me with valuable knowledge that continues to shape my work today. Ultimately, I found my calling in the visual design field. I'm pleased to share that I've successfully made the transition and am now a multi-disciplinary visual designer based in New York, focusing on branding, marketing, print and digital design.
My enthusiasm for design lies in solving problems and translating insights into visually appealing solutions. I embrace a clean, minimalist style, maximizing visual impact to convey messages effectively for the client.
I value a love for constant learning, maintaining a positive outlook on life, and having a good sense of humor. Outside of work, you'll likely find me laughing (I'm a big fan of comedy), cooking, exploring new crafts (recently ventured into sewing and other GrandmaCore activities!), indulging in snacks (potato chips are my weakness), attempting to master roller skating, or enjoying quality time with my long-time partner and my dog, Goose.
