ROLE: Graphics and Communication Designer

PROJECTS: Print Design | Post-Production and Installation | Motion Design

At IKEA Brooklyn, I collaborate with store leadership, the ComIn team, and cross-functional partners to design and implement visual communication and marketing materials that support business priorities, seasonal launches, and both customer-facing and internal environments, all aligned with IKEA’s global brand standards and tone of voice.

Marketing and Event Materials

I partnered with the Local Marketing Specialist to design print and motion graphics to support in-store events and marketing campaigns. From posters and signage to images for the website, each piece is created to capture attention, communicate clearly, and stay aligned with IKEA’s visual identity.

Financial Services Wall

In collaboration with the Store Manager, I created a large-scale financial services wall at the store entrance to clearly communicate IKEA's financing options to customers. At the time, no other store had implemented something like this. I led the project from creative concept through to execution, designing the layout, sourcing and production of the graphics, and managing printing and installation. Positioned at a key entry point, the wall served as both a visual anchor and an informative tool, helping customers feel more confident and informed about their purchasing options from the moment they entered the store.

Home Organization Remodel

I collaborated closely with Visual Merchandiser Jess Cifuentes to bring her vision for the Home Organization section to life during the store remodel. I sourced graphics, wrote headlines, and managed printing and installation of large-scale visuals, including the seamless alignment of two panels using DMVLA-5, a small but impactful detail that elevated the overall presentation and enhanced the customer experience.

IKEA Ferry Schedule

IKEA partners with NY Waterway to offer free weekend ferry transportation. The existing schedule signage was confusing for customers. I redesigned the layout to clarify that one ferry makes two stops, first at Pier 11 and then at Midtown, reformatting the schedule to read like a bus timetable and creating a clearer, more intuitive experience for customers.
